Text: John 14:13
[13]And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Amplified]

9 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” [NIV]

God answers calls that are connected to the name of His Son – Jesus Christ! For we have all sinned and fall short of God’s Glory – (Rom 3:23-24), hence we have an ill name and likely cursed foundation – Psa 51:5; but Christ’s name is free from sins and curses, and highly honoured in heaven. Through Jesus Christ our desires and prayers should meet; to this they must all be directed that Christ may be honored by our services and in our salvation.
This type of prayer Christ will aim at in granting, and for the sake of this, will do what we ask that hereby the glory of the Father in the Son may be manifested. Pleading in Christ’s name is to having divine access to the throne of grace! Secondly! It is to plead His merit and intercession and to depend upon that plea! Thirdly, is to be blessed through the only respected and acceptable name by the Father (Philip. 2:10-11)! Fourthly, God the Father will not deny requests made through Christ’s name – “that the name of the Father may be glorified in the Son”. Christ’s name carries incomparable power and authority to do all things with the full support of His Father – Philip.4:13
Prayer Capsules
1. Lord, help me to connect your throne of grace and open heaven on daily basis.
2. Lord, bless me with unlimited favour that I may enjoy your presence.
3. Lord, in your mercy, bless me with favourable answers anytime I pray.
4. Lord, fill me with power and authority to ask and receive without delay in Jesus name
