Text: Revelation: 2: 10
10 Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life. [NLT]

It may sound strange and funny, but certainly it is designed to perfect our Christian journey. Afflictions would help us to feel uneasy with the comfort of the world, it will alert our mind for home. Secondly: God may allow test and trials but will not let us end in shame. Thirdly: Satan will cause believers to be thrown into battles and prisons of life, even be killed, but it is not the end of our journey!
Believers need not to fear tribulations, even death threats; because it will only result in our receiving eternal reward and crown of life. Satan may harm our earthly bodies, but he can not do us any spiritual harm.
Tribulations and battles should not cause you to succumb, devil’s plan through tribulation is to frustrate your faith to loose focus on Christ and eternal joy. You are made to overcome, you are more than a conqueror. The scripture says “ye shall have tribulations ten days”, this implies, persecution and troubles may be intense, but it would be relatively short. Battles, challenges, troubles, pains, disgrace, hatred, lack, molestation, envy, strife, frustration (etc) will have a terminal date! It will surely end, and you shall be granted peace and life eternal
Prayer Capsules
1. Lord, empower me to overcome trials of life.
2. Lord, help me to keep my testimony intact till the end in Jesus name.
3. Lord, strengthen me and prevent me from serving devil because of suffering.
4. Father, arise and put my battles under your control in Jesus name
